Endor Productions has today announced Carlo Dusi as Managing Director while award-winning producer – and former chair of BAFTA – Hilary Bevan Jones decides to dedicate time to more hands-on producing. Ian McBain has also been promoted to the role of Director of Finance and Operations.
Carlo Dusi joined highly reputed independent Endor Productions as Executive Producer and Strategy Director in 2021 from Red Arrow Studios International, Red Arrow Studios’ TV distribution arm.
In his new role, Carlo will drive the continued expansion of the Endor slate and focus on the talent packaging, financing and production of the company’s projects, while Ian will oversee the company’s financial management and all aspects of its operations. Carlo and Ian will jointly drive the company’s business strategy, building upon all of Endor’s achievements to date and continuing to prioritise high- end, talent-led drama with international potential.
Carlo’s past credits include: the BAFTA award-winning TV hit Taboo starring Tom Hardy, as well as thriller Before I Go To Sleep (starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth), Chris Smith’s comedy Get Santa (starring Jim Broadbent and Rafe Spall), Sean Foley’s comedy Mindhorn (starring Julian Barratt and Steve Coogan) and James Kent’s The Aftermath for Fox Searchlight (starring Keira Knightley and Alexander Skarsgård). Most recently, Carlo executive produced two seasons of Endor’s flagship show Vienna Blood, as well as two seasons of Shaftesbury’s thriller Departure for Peacock, Corus and NBC Universal, starring Archie Panjabi, Christopher Plummer and Kris Holden-Ried.
Endor Productions new Managing Director Carlo Dusi comments: “I could not be more thrilled to take on the MD role at Endor and continue to work with the wonderful Endor family in building upon the legacy that Hilary has created through her incredible slate of projects. As a company, we have never been busier and, with the projects I brought into Endor from my time at Red Arrow Studios International now forming part of the overall slate, our pipeline has never looked more exciting – so we are in for a fantastic ride over the coming months.”
Ian joined Endor at the end of 2015 as Head of Finance and Commercial Affairs. Prior to that he worked as Financial Controller at both Twenty Twenty Productions (Shed/Warner Brothers TV) and Left Bank Pictures (Sony Pictures Television) on a raft of scripted and non-scripted shows.
Ian’s past credits include: Channel 4’s First Dates; BBC One’s Garrow’s Law; BBC Three’s World’s.
