Mediaset has picked up TV rights for major new crime series “100 Code” for Italy.
This acclaimed series launched last month on Sky Germany and HBO Nordics and was available to screen for the first time at MIPTV 2015 in Cannes. It premieres later this year on Kanal 5 Sweden.
Zelda Stewart, Head of Acquisitions at Mediaset says: “We believe ‘100 Code’ will perform excellently on all of the Mediaset platforms and are extremely happy to announce the addition of yet another major title to our long standing relationship with Red Arrow”.
Axel Böhm, SVP Sales Europe at Red Arrow International says: “I am delighted that ‘100 Code’ is heading to Mediaset in Italy. It is the perfect home for Italian audiences to enjoy this major new drama where Scandi crime meets US thriller.”

In Stockholm, he is paired with Swedish cop Eklund, played by Michael Nyqvist (The “Millennium” series).
“100 Code” was developed by Red Arrow Entertainment’s LA-based scripted arm, Fabrik Entertainment (“Bosch”), and produced by 100 Code AB and Zen Productions (“The Bible Code”). Klaus Zimmermann serves as Executive Producer alongside Fabrik Entertainment’s Henrik Bastin and Mikkel Bondesen, and Bobby Moresco. Joakim Hansson is Producer. The series is produced for Kanal 5 in Sweden and was Sky Deutschland’s first co-production.
About “100 Code” (12 x 1 hour)
From Oscar winner Bobby Moresco (“Crash”) and starring Michael Nyqvist and Dominic Monaghan. Set in New York and Stockholm, young, blonde and blue-eyed women have been turning up dead in fields of flowers. Through a special dispensation from the NYPD, Detective Tommy Conley (Dominic Monaghan – “Lost”, “Lord of the Rings”) is permitted to observe and advise the Stockholm PD. Upon arrival in Sweden, he is paired with Mikael Eklund (Michael Nyqvist – “The Millennium series”, “John Wick”), a by-the-book Swedish cop with an aversion to American culture. Both hate each other, but the two are quickly forced to resolve their differences as the mysterious killings continue. Work aside, both cops are fighting demons from their past. Conley’s guilt over his girlfriend Maggie’s death continues to haunt him. And Eklund’s need to be a better father to his daughter, Hanna (Felice Jankell – “Alena”), proves a challenge as the investigation intensifies and he falls back into old patterns of behavior. As the web of shocking murders continues, Conley and Eklund are led down a path of no return in their hunt for the vicious killer.
“100 Code” is produced by 100 Code AB & Zen Productions in association with Fabrik Entertainment, Red Arrow International and Strix Drama for Kanal 5 and Sky Deutschland.
