MCOT, one of Thailand’s biggest TV channels, secured a long-running production order of “My Man Can”. “Fan-Chan-Keng” (local title), produced by Workpoint Entertainment, premiered Monday at 6pm and will air twice a week.
Sojiphan Jakkaphan, MCOT representative, says “’My Man Can’ is a TV program for the whole family. Our audience will be hanging at the edge of the seat while they watch the couples achieve their missions. Hosted by two of Thailand’s leading comedians, they will bring happiness into your home”.
Jamie I, Senior Sales Manager Asia, Red Arrow International in Hong Kong: “The premise of ‘My Man Can’ – women bet on their husband’s abilities – is truly universal as sales to over 30 countries prove. I am absolutely thrilled about this amazing order and excited to partner with MCOT once again.”
My Man Can
In “My Man Can” (created by Redseven Entertainment) four women gamble with the abilities of their partners – and put the men’s courage and skills to the test. If the woman claims “My Man Can” eat 20 chilli peppers, he has to do so. If he performs the task, she wins the jackpot. “My Man Can” has already been sold to over 30 countries, including UK, Ukraine, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Lithuania and South Korea. “My Man Can” was a smash hit in China: airing prime-time on Jiang Su Satellite Channel, the game show has been the most successful foreign entertainment adaption in China in 2010.
