Munich, July 14, 2011. SevenOne International has sold the production rights to Belgian TV smash hit “Benidorm Bastards” to the UK’s #1 broadcaster, BBC One. The non tx pilot of the hidden camera show is currently in development and will be produced by CPL Productions under the working title “Off Their Rockers.”

In the US, NBC has ordered 12 half-hour episodes of “Benidorm Bastards” (local title “Off Their Rockers”), which will be hosted by seven-time Emmy Award winner Betty White. Kinetic Content will produce “Off Their Rockers”.
BENIDORM BASTARDS
The Rose d’Or winning “Benidorm Bastards” (produced by SHELTER) is an outrageous hidden camera show that follows 7 senior citizens whose mission is to roam the streets and blow the minds of as many young people as they can. In Belgium, its country of origin, the show has exceeded the channel’s average by up to 284 percent with market shares of up to 27.9 percent (viewers 18-44). In the Netherlands, the first international adaptation of “Benidorm Bastards” outperforms RTL 4’s channel average by up to 250 percent with a market share of up to 36.8 percent (20-49) on Saturdays at 8:05 p.m. prime-time. The show has already been sold to more than 20 countries, including France, Spain, Germany, Scandinavia, Greece, Israel, South Korea and the US.
