Gravitas Ventures has acquired all North American rights to The Secret: Dare to Dream from tri-G Films, the feature film inspired by Rhonda Byrne’s worldwide bestseller, and has partnered with Lionsgate’s sister company Roadside Attractions to release the film in U.S. theaters on April 17, 2020. Global content leader Lionsgate will handle all other forms of distribution including home entertainment and television distribution.
Starring Katie Holmes (All We Had, Logan Lucky, The Gift) and Josh Lucas (Ford v Ferrari, Yellowstone, Glory Road) with Celia Weston (Knight and Day, The Intern) and Jerry O’Connell (Billions, Stand by Me) and directed by Andy Tennant (Hitch, Sweet Home Alabama), The Secret: Dare to Dream centers around Miranda Wells (Holmes), a hard-working young widow struggling to raise three children on her own. A powerful storm brings a devastating challenge and a mysterious man, Bray Johnson (Lucas), into her life. In just a few short days, Bray’s presence re-ignites the family’s spirit, but he carries a secret—and that secret could change everything.

Gravitas acquired all North American rights from tri-G Films.
The Secret: Dare to Dream is directed by Andy Tennant (Hitch, Sweet Home Alabama). The script is by Bekah Brunstetter (writer on NBC’s hit drama This Is Us) and Andy Tennant & Rick Parks (Ever After: A Cinderella Story) with the story by Bekah Brunstetter inspired by the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. The film stars Katie Holmes (All We Had, Logan Lucky, The Gift) and Josh Lucas (Ford v Ferrari, Yellowstone, Glory Road) with Celia Weston (Knight and Day, The Intern) and Jerry O’Connell (Billions, Stand by Me).
