ProSieben in Germany has announced that new entertainment show Balls – für Geld mache ich alles (international format title: Balls to Dare) produced by Redseven Entertainment will premiere on May 5.
Balls to Dare pits 50 contestants against each other in rounds of extreme and merciless stunts and challenges that they would never normally do – to test how far they would go for money! And all in front of their friends, family, and the general public.
Each challenge begins with the phrase “I would never …” and consists of five levels, each level becoming more and more extreme, difficult and humiliating. Candidates who decide not to go any further are eliminated, and only one contestant at the end of the show will take on the final challenge in a bid for the ultimate prize.
The show is hosted by Christian Düren (Taff), and was shot live, a few months ago before the Coronavirus lockdown, in front of a studio audience at the MMC Studios in Cologne.
Balls to Dare will air Tuesdays at 5:55pm from May 5 on ProSieben, following the new season of Beat the Channel (Joko and Klaas gegen ProSieben).
The Balls to Dare and Beat the Channel formats are distributed by Red Arrow Studios International, and formed part of their Spring/Summer 2020 slate of new shows.
