Claim to Fame continued its run of excellent ratings across its second season outing on ABC in the US, leading in Monday night’s ratings and hitting its own ratings high.
Monday night’s episode attracted 2.5 million viewers and a 0.4 demo rating – growing the show’s audience and bettering network stablemate The Bachelorette (2.1m/0.4).
Hosted by Kevin and Franklin Jonas, Claim to Fame challenges 12 celebrity relatives to step outside their famous family member’s shadow and live together under one roof, concealing their identity and lineage in the quest for their own fame and fortune. They will compete in challenges, form alliances and play DNA detective in hopes of avoiding elimination and winning the coveted $100,000 prize, and staking their own Claim to Fame.
The series is produced by Kinetic Content in association with Walt Disney Television Alternative. Chris Coelen, Eric Detwiler and Scott Teti serve as executive producers; Jessica Castro serves as the showrunner and executive producer, and Brian Smith serves as director and executive producer.
The format is distributed by Red Arrow Studios International and has already been acquired by WBITVP for Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, Spain, France, Austria, Switzerland and New Zealand.
