Red Arrow Studios companies have scooped multiple nominations in this year’s International Format Awards and Daytime Emmy® Awards.
The International Format Awards are the leading awards for the global formats business, organised by C21Media, FRAPA and EMC, in association with MIPFORMATS. The awards will be announced in Cannes on April 7, 2018.
Red Arrow Studios nominations include CPL Productions’ hit social experiment Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds for Channel 4 (UK), with nominations in three categories: Best Factual Entertainment Format, Best Reality Format and Best Brand Driven Format.
Also nominated in the Best Reality Format category is the radical new format Buying Blind, produced by Snowman Productions for DR3 (Denmark), and created by Kinetic Content.
The emotionally charged format Look Me in the Eye, produced by RedSeven Entertainment for SAT.1 (Germany) and created by CPL Productions, is nominated in the Best Reality Format category.
Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds, Buying Blind and Look Me in the Eye are all distributed by Red Arrow Studios International.
The prestigious Daytime Emmy Awards, organised by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), recognize the best of US daytime television and content. Winners will be announced in Pasadena on April 29, 2018.
Global digital studio, Studio71, part of Red Arrow Studios, has scooped three nods at the Daytime Emmys – all for their hit series Roman Atwood’s Day Dreams. The show, produced by Studio71 for YouTube RED, is nominated in the Outstanding Special Class Series category, Outstanding Host in a Lifestyle / Travel / Children’s or Educational and Informational Program category, and Outstanding Multiple Camera Editing category.
