Dorsey Pictures (Building Alaska, Maine Cabin Masters) has announced a new addition to and several promotions within its executive team.
Hayden Boal, formerly of Center Drive Media, has joined the team as VP of Development. The unscripted veteran has previously developed projects including children’s competition format Karma for HBO Max, The Woodsmen for the History Channel, documentary special Who Shot Biggie and Tupac? for Fox, and the documentary profile My Five Wives for TLC.
Dorsey has also promoted showrunner Matt Assmus to SVP of Production; line producer Lisa Stanley to Executive-in-Charge, Production; and Controller Tameka Simmons to VP, Finance. Additionally, Talia Eaton has been upgraded from Development Associate to Development Coordinator.
Dorsey Pictures President and CEO Chris Dorsey said: “Hayden brings a fresh eye to producing compelling unscripted television and will be a great addition to our executive team of talented executives deserving of their promotions.”
Dorsey Pictures has also entered into a representation agreement with Vital Artists Agency, based in LA, founded in December 2020 by former Rebel Entertainment Partners agents Phil Irven, April Yuan and Cal Boyington.
Dorsey Pictures celebrated its 20th anniversary last year with the release of its first IMAX documentary, Wings Over Water 3D, featuring narration by Michael Keaton.
