Gravitas Ventures and sales agency Archstone Entertainment have partnered on the recently completed feature Last Three Days, from Slater Brothers Entertainment.
Gravitas will release the film in North America later this year, while Archstone will introduce it to foreign buyers at next week’s virtual Cannes market.
The film follows an undercover cop played by Robert Palmer Watkins (The Walking Dead: World Beyond). After getting mixed up with a dangerous crime syndicate, he wakes up to discover he is missing his police partner, his wife, and three days of his life. Brian Ulrich wrote, directed, and produced the action film alongside his wife Julianna and Slater Brothers Entertainment’s Todd and Grant Slater.
“We are thrilled to be working on yet another Slater Bros. and Co. production. With Last Three Days they continue to display a penchant for clever plots, refined visuals, and entertaining performances from talented casts,” said Nick Royak, Senior Manager of Acquisitions at Gravitas Ventures.
Nick Royak represented Gravitas in the domestic deal, and President of Worldwide Sales & Development Jack Sheehan represented Archstone on the international side. This marks the second deal this month between the two companies as Gravitas acquired North American rights to Archstone’s 5 Years Apart, starring Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Chloe Bennet, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s Scott Michael Forster, Toy Story 4’s Ally Maki, and Roswell, New Mexico’s Michael Vlamis, who also produced alongside Adam Maffei and writer/director Joe Angelo Menconi. Gravitas will release the romantic comedy later this year.
