In the aftermath of a traumatic event, a suburban husband and father buys a cutting edge home security system, only to find that it slowly destroys that which he most wants to protect.

“Bad Impulse is a psychological horror/thriller that tells the story of a family like any other family until a new high-tech security system causes them to be unable to suppress their deepest, darkest inhibitions. These freeing yet troubling experiences force each family member to look into their own black mirror that causes them to live out their innermost fears and desires and ultimately sends their lives spiraling out of control,” said Director Michelle Danner.

“Michelle builds upon the proven formula of a home invasion thriller, issuing a timely warning about sacrificing privacy in the name of safety. We look forward to North American audiences taking the ride and seeing how bad a lockdown with their families could get,” said Tony Piantedosi, Vice President of Acquisitions at Gravitas Ventures.

Tony Piantedosi, Vice President of Acquisitions at Gravitas Ventures negotiated the deal with Jack Sheehan President of Worldwide Sales and Development, of Archstone Entertainment.
