A compelling new social experiment and spinoff to the multi award-winning Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds

The revolutionary format Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds proved that regular interaction and engagement with young children can improve the health and happiness of the elderly. In this new intergenerational social experiment, older adults are brought together with teenagers in an attempt to transform their lives and combat their shared sense of social exclusion and loneliness.

At the start of the experiment, all the participants undergo a series of baseline tests and are reassessed at the end of the experiment to see how the experience has changed them. Will it improve their wellbeing, confidence, and mental state? Might the experiment give the older people a renewed sense of purpose, help them live independently and become more connected to their local communities? Can spending time with older adults give our teens the resilience and confidence to grow into adulthood, and encourage them to form genuine friendships within their own age bracket and beyond?

Old People’s Home for Teenagers takes the young and the elderly on a heartwarming and thought-provoking journey of discovery.
