Banks Tarver, Co-Founder and Co-President of New York-based production company Left/Right, is to speak at The PGA Foundation’s forthcoming Produced By: New York conference. Tarver will appear on the closing keynote panel, ‘The Future of Producing,’ alongside Dan Lin, Elaine Frontain Bryant and Lori McCreary.
The event, now sold out, will take place on November 9 at Florence Gould Hall in New York City. The one-day conference, opens with a keynote from Netflix film boss Scott Stuber, in conversation with Ron Howard, followed by eight masterclass sessions.
Session participants include Mark Ruffalo, Pam Koffler, Christine Vachon and the production team of Todd Haynes’ Dark Waters, Alma Har’el and Daniela Taplin Lundberg discussing Shia LaBeouf’s Honey Boy, plus masterclasses with editor Michael McCusker and Tracy Letts (for Ford v Ferrari), and Elise Pearlstein (for American Factory).
Left/Right are the award-winning producers of non-scripted series including The Circus, currently in its fourth season for Showtime, and The Weekly, the major new half-hour series produced by Left/Right and The New York Times for FX and Hulu.
