Red Arrow Entertainment Group has concluded a multi-year development agreement with Omri Marcus, a rising creative talent in the Israeli and international television industry. Under the terms of the partnership, Red Arrow will have exclusive access to Marcus’ formats and developments across all platforms on a worldwide basis. The sale of Marcus’ formats will be managed by SevenOne International, the Group’s worldwide programming distribution company.

Recently, Omri Marcus was a senior writer on Israel’s top comedy panel show and has consulted for top Israeli production companies in scouting formats and analyzing global TV and new-media trends. Previously, Marcus served as Director in the development department for Israel’s leading TV network, Channel 2, and is credited with the creation of the original reality series “Buzz Off”, recently sold to France, Spain, Ireland and China. Moreover, during the last 10 years, Marcus has been involved in the development and writing of numerous major entertainment shows on Israeli TV. Among his successes is “Eretz Nehederet” (“What a Wonderful Country”), enjoying regular ratings of over 30% and winning 4 Israeli Academy Awards.

Omri Marcus started his media career in 1999 with a weekly satirical column that was published in “Maariv”, Israel´s second-largest daily newspaper. Since then, Marcus´ roles have covered, among others, those of Creative Consultant for hi-tech companies, Executive Producer, Development and Programming, for Channel 2, and Creative Development Consultant for “HaLayla” (Channel 10), Israel´s leading late night show. In 2009, EMC, the Format Academy for Entertainment, Television & New Media, awarded Marcus its prestigious fellowship, given to professionals involved in designing the media of the future. In addition, he received the Israeli TV Academy Award for four consecutive years.
