Munich, January 11, 2011. Germany’s leading science-tainment magazine “Galileo” airs now on Serbia’s Free-TV channel Prva TV. The half hour magazine is broadcast Saturdays as well as Sundays at 7 p.m. under its original title ‘Galileo’. The well-known host is Milos Urosevic, a former weather presenter on Fox television.
Axel Böhm, Regional Sales Director / International Fiction Acquisition SevenOne International: ‘With its unique combination of science and entertainment, ‘Galileo’ is one of the most successful science-tainment magazines worldwide. It is great to see how well the format travels and I am sure ‘Galileo’ will fascinate the Serbian audience as well.’
Ivan Kleut, producer of the Serbian version: ‘’Galileo’ is a unique format that has an educational content packed in a dynamical entertaining form. The lack of that kind of program in Serbia will attract various generations, families and friends to this show. Knowing that the TV audience is looking for educational and science formats on cable channels, we strongly believe that Galileo will be a success on a national TV channel.’
