Red Arrow Studios International‘s hit quiz show Stealing the Show! (local title: Wer stiehlt mir die Show?) returned to ProSieben for a brand new season last week, in a brand new slot, to typically stellar ratings. 1.52m viewers tuned in to the quiz show – a 5.9% share. The season 5 premiere attracted a phenomenal 17.0% share in the all important 14-49 demographic.
The innovative format offers three celebrity contestants and a member of the public the chance to literally steal the show and take control of the next episode as quiz master. In the season premiere, 26-year-old Berliner Helena became the first non-celebrity in the show’s history to win the quiz. She will now host next Sunday’s episode – and take full creative control of the show. Host Joko Winterscheidt will attempt to steal back control of the show, competing alongside actor Jasna Fritzi Bauer, musician Sido and Tokio Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz.
Florida Entertainment produce Stealing the Show! for ProSieben – with new episodes airing Sundays at 8:15pm. Red Arrow Studios International distributes the Stealing the Show! format internationally.
