Stranded on Honeymoon Island (local title: Gestrand op Honeymoon Island), the new adventure dating format devised by Married at First Sight creators Snowman Productions, got off to an excellent start when it premiered on Belgian broadcaster VTM at 10.23pm on Friday, 10 March.
The premiere episode posted a market share of 46% (live+consolidated) in the main target demo 18-54, rising to an even more impressive 51% market share (live+consolidated) in the 15-34 demo: doubling VTM’s average market share this month and more than doubling VTM’s slot average (Monday-Sunday).
The reality series was also the No 4 show on VTM’s AVOD platform VTM GO by the end of the weekend it launched, and 50% of Stranded on Honeymoon Island viewers on VTM Go were aged 18-34.
The second episode will air on Tuesday, 14 March on sister channel VTM2. Stranded on Honeymoon Island is created by Snowman Productions, and produced by PIT for VTM2. Red Arrow Studios International distribute the format globally.
