Saving Zoë is the story of high school freshman Echo, who after the murder of her sister Zoë, is determined to uncover what led to her sister’s demise through the secret diary entries Zoë left behind.
“Saving Zoë is a hauntingly dark coming of age story about sisters. Zoë essentially guides Echo from beyond the grave through the secret diary she left behind, and Echo’s quest for truth becomes a cautionary tale of bad decisions and their inevitable consequences,” remarks Michael Schreiber, who runs scripted content at Studio71. “Saving Zoë is a powerful and thought-provoking tale that was important for us to make. We are inundated with escapism entertainment, and we wanted to create opportunities for younger audiences to have compelling stories that mean something to them on a personal and relatable level.”
Laura Marano and Vanessa Marano are represented by Paradigm, Marano Entertainment and attorney Alex Kohner. Tavarez is with APA Agency. Bucolic is with Untitled Entertainment. Whigham is represented by Paradigm and Principal Management LA. Hunt is represented by Verve and Writ Large. LeeAnne H. Adams & Brian J. Adams are represented by Innovative Artists.
