Global media company Studio71 has announced the promotion of Joe Hodorowicz and Joseph Marchese to Co-Heads of Talent for the US.

Together, the pair will oversee Studio71’s talent roster with the goal of helping creators grow and diversify their business through thoughtful and strategic internal and external partnerships. This year alone, Hodorowicz and Marchese led the charge for Studio71’s talent partnerships team to surpass 1.5 billion new impressions and spearheaded new talent acquisitions such as Leah Ashe, Megan Playz, Alyson Stoner, Joey Graceffa, Pencilmation and SMOSH joining their fold.

Under their guidance, Studio71’s talent group will continue to collaborate with its internal unscripted and scripted production units and podcast, distribution and gaming divisions to create premium opportunities for cross-platform reach.

“Joe and Joseph have been fundamental in building Studio71’s talent roster into what it is today,” said Dan Weinstein, Co-Founder and President of Studio71. “Their commitment to providing Studio71 creators with best-in-class opportunities, expertise and guidance to expand, monetize and create their businesses sets them apart from their contemporaries, further establishing the Studio71 talent team as a major cornerstone of the company and the industry as a whole.”

Hodorowicz began his career at William Morris Endeavor and then Ridley Scott Associates before moving into digital management and production at Studio71 (then Creative Digital Studios). During his tenure at Studio71, which spans over six years, he has acted as a talent liaison and producer on original content, branded campaigns and business development initiatives for clients such as WorldStarHipHop, Explosm Entertainment, Alex Wassabi, Just Kidding News, Nerdwriter and Alex Clark. Today, Hodorowicz oversees the talent management team alongside Marchese to provide direct support in servicing Studio71’s client roster.

Marchese has been with Studio71 for over five years and first started working in both talent management and acquisitions. He eventually established Studio71’s Partner Relations department after realizing the company’s need to allow managers to focus on servicing clientele while he led a team scouting top tier talent for Studio71. This has resulted in nearly 10 billion monthly views being brought into the network during his tenure. Marchese has specifically helped identify and sign talent and properties like FGTEEV, Ali-A, Jacksepticeye, Troom Troom, Michelle Khare, Tal Fishman, New Media Rockstars, Piper Rockwell, The Labrant Fam, Vat19 and many more. Today, Marchese continues to forge partnerships and explore initiatives for talent acquisitions while overseeing the talent management team with Hodorowicz.

The pair will report to Dan Weinstein, Studio71’s Co-Founder and President.
