Facebook Watch has recommissioned Studio71 US series The Real Bros of Simi Valley; the show returns to the platform for Season Three on February 14.
Co-created by Jimmy Tatro (American Vandal, Modern Family), who also directs and stars, and Christian Pierce, the series follows four bros and their girlfriends as they navigate life in the deep valley – full of kickbacks and squad rivalries.
Tanner Petulla, Nick Colletti and Cody Ko co-star, and Colleen Donovan, Maddy Whitby, Peter Gilroy, Monette Moio, Monica Joy Sherer, Eric Walbridge, and Christian Pierce round out the supporting cast. SNL star Pete Davidson also guest stars in the new season.
Originally launched on Tatro’s ‘Life According to Jimmy’ YouTube channel, Real Bros made the swift transition from digital series to cultural phenomenon, and moved to Facebook Watch for its second season, where it proved a huge success for the platform. The first episode of Season Two got over 4 million views, with subsequent episodes averaging around 2 million.
