“We were hearing from our community from people who wanted to speak out in response to what was going on in politics, so we decided to roll up our sleeves and do something about it” said Davida Hall, Vice President, Lifestyle Content, Studio71. “Lipstick is a simple way to raise funds and generate awareness. Since women’s health care is in jeopardy right now, making Planned Parenthood our first beneficiary was the obvious choice.”
“We at Opening Ceremony are huge supporters of Planned Parenthood, and we’re excited to provide a brick-and-mortar home for The Lipstick Lobby and raise proceeds for their cause,” said Carol Lim, co-founder of Opening Ceremony.
The Lipstick Lobby is already underway developing its fall shade that will debut in September in support of a new charity partner. The new shade will continue the theme of “lipstick it to the man” and the fight for equality, progress and human kindness.
