The tenth anniversary season of hit format The Taste is proving a great success for SAT.1 in Germany – attracting record ratings.

This Wednesday’s episode drew the show’s strongest ratings since 2016, with an audience of 1.22 million and an average market share of 11.8%, beating its nearest competitor by over 20%. The show propelled the broadcaster to that day’s second strongest broadcaster with a strong 8.7% market share.

The format was originally created and produced by Kinetic Content for ABC (US), and has now been distributed by Red Arrow Studios International to over 40 territories worldwide.
