44 Blue Productions, the innovative and acclaimed production house, has entered into a first-look production deal with renowned human behavioural scientist, author and podcaster Jon Levy, known for his groundbreaking work in consumer engagement, influence and social experience.
Levy’s research and work has supported countless brands and companies, including Samsung, Starwood, Microsoft, RetailMeNot, Truffle Pig and Dell, by applying the latest behavioral research ranging from neuroscience and psychology to economics and biology, to support their efforts in consumer engagement, customer acquisition, and influencer relations.
As part of the agreement, 44 Blue has also secured the unscripted rights to Levy’s first book – “The 2am Principle: Discover the Science of Adventure.” In it, Levy breaks down the science of adventure sharing with readers the outrageous triumphs, embarrassing failures, and life-changing lessons he has learnt from his worldwide adventures; he combines these tales with concrete science to show how anyone can live life more fully—and adventurously.
Levy is also founder of The Influencers and The Influencers Dinner, a private community and weekly, private dining experience where some of the most influential thought leaders and tastemakers participate in preparing and enjoying an anonymous meal, while developing connections that will impact each attendees lives, their communities and in turn the world. Guests range from Nobel Laureates, Academy award winners and Olympic medalists, to executives, celebrities, and even members of royalty.
“We’re excited to collaborate with Jon to create content around his innovative work exploring the science of influence and adventure,” said Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch, co-founder & president of 44 Blue Productions. “We’re looking forward to integrating his unique experiences, philosophies and cultural research into ideas that are fresh, entertaining and thought—provoking for broadcast, cable, digital and emerging platforms.”
“I’ve always believed that if you want to create something extraordinary, you have to wait for the right moment,” said Jon Levy. “Like all adventures, it is about surrounding yourself with the right team and then blazing your own path – something that 44 Blue knows really well. Together, we hope to create some unforgettable, can’t-miss television.”
44 Blue has one of the industry’s deepest slates of celeb-reality programming and A-list partners: Mark Wahlberg, Donnie Wahlberg (Emmy-nominated “Wahlburgers”), Whoopi Goldberg (“According to Alex”), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson & Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions (“Rock and a Hard Place”) and Dick Wolf (“Nightwatch”), among others. Its current series includes hits such as E!’s “Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry,” A&E’s top-rated “Nightwatch” and twice-Emmy nominated “Wahlburgers,” Animal Planet’s long-running and top-rated “Pit Bulls & Parolees” and HBO documentary “Rock and a Hard Place.”
