The hit quiz show Stealing the Show! (local title: Wer stiehlt mir die Show?), produced by Florida Entertainment, has continued to build its audience season on season, drawing impressive ratings in its third season – which finished its run earlier this year to become the best performing season to date.
The innovative format – which offers three celebrity contestants and a member of the public the chance to literally steal the show and take control of the next episode as quiz master – is a huge ratings winner for ProSieben in Germany.
Season three outperformed the previous season yet again with a market share of 20.6% (14-49 year olds), growing its audience across all demographics. Four out of the six episodes achieved a market share of over 20% (individuals 14-49), and the season’s best episode garnered an impressive market share 24.9%, and 35.4% in the key demographic of individuals 14-39.
Stealing the Show! proved itself across the season, generating an incredible 136% increase in the overall channel average for viewers 14-49 (20.6% vs. 8.7% full year 2021), a primetime slot average that was 111% higher (20.6% vs. 9.7% full year 2021), and 63% higher than previous programs in the same slot (20.6% vs. 12.7% full year 2021).
