Married at First Sight Australia returned to Nine Network for season ten to stellar ratings this week.
With tentpole programs launching on each of the main networks, the reality juggernaut topped entertainment ratings on Monday night – winning all three key advertising demos, with 840,000 metro viewers. Married at First Sight Australia beat out stiff competition from Australian Idol and Survivor Australia, propelling Nine network to win the overall audience share with 32.4%.
Married at First Sight continued to dominate ratings throughout the week. On Wednesday night, the show aired to 790,000 metro viewers – more than Australian Idol and Australian Survivor audience metro viewership combined – and Nine again won the night with 32.5% overall network share.
The Married at First Sight format is created and produced by Snowman Productions for DR and distributed worldwide by Red Arrow Studios International. The show is one of the world’s most successful relationship formats, with productions in 30 countries.
