- Bosch, Married at First Sight and Galileo find new homes in CEE
Red Arrow Studios International has secured a raft of deals in Central and Eastern Europe across its scripted, formats and factual titles.
In Russia and CIS, the Viacom-owned channel Spike has acquired seasons one to five of acclaimed crime drama Bosch (50 x 45’), produced by Red Arrow Studios’ company Fabrik Entertainment for Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, Rocky & The Cop (10×45’), the fast-paced SAT.1 original series produced by Bantry Bay, has been picked up by Sony for its channels across CEE and CIS.
In Poland, Polsat has acquired the latest season of long-running science-tainment magazine show Galileo from ProSieben Television for ProSieben (Germany), and a factual package including How Trains Changed the World (6 x 50’) produced by Wild Bear Entertainment for Quest (UK), and Man’s First Friend (1 x 90’/2 x 48’), produced by Boreales in co-production with Winds, NHK and France Télévision. Also for Poland, A + E Networks has taken Season Nine (15 x 60’) of the US version of hit relationship series Married at First Sight, plus Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island (8 x 60’), both produced by Kinetic Content, a Red Arrow Studios company, for Lifetime.
In the Czech Republic, Ceska Televize has commissioned an eight-episode local adaptation of comedy drama Sense of Tumour, originally produced by Sylvester and VRT for Eén/VRT (Belgium), while in Slovenia, Planet TV has acquired a TV movie package.
Developed by Paprika Latino Kft and MTM-SBS Televizio Zrt, the new season of Hungarian celebrity cooking series Fish on the Cake has been picked up by Nova Bulgaria, and Digital Media and Communication has commissioned a local version of Galileo for TV4 in Hungary.
