Trade publication C21 Media announced today finalists for their annual Drama Awards, with Appetite landing a nomination for newform drama series.
The comedy-noir follows three penniless delivery riders brought together by the mysterious disappearance of their housemate on the same night as a fatal accident.
The series was for Canneseries 2023 earlier this year, and was also recently nominated for multiplatform series at the forthcoming Rose d’Or Awards.
C21 Drama Awards are voted for by the world’s leading scripted commissioners and buyers from more than 500 entries across 11 categories. The winners will be announced at the International Drama Awards Ceremony between 6pm and 7pm on November 30 as part of Content London 2023.
Appetite is produced by Fell Swoop Pictures and Photoplay Films for SBS (Australia); the series is distributed worldwide by Red Arrow Studios International.
