The Belgian broadcaster VIJF, owned by SBS Belgium, acquired Red Arrow International’s Dating App. The Facebook-based application will be launched as digital extension to the upcoming show “Singl3s” in August. Developed by Screenz, the app is Israel’s fastest growing dating app with over 10 million page views, 90% returned visitors and an average time spent of 30 min per session.
“Dating will be one of the brand values for VIJF, and we want to offer our audience a fun and easy tool to experiment with this. We’re confident that the expertise of Red Arrow and Screenz will help in making the app a successful extension of the show” says Tom Ballon, Content Manager Interactive Media at SBS.
Tim Gerhartz, Sales Manager for Benelux at Red Arrow International, says, “The Dating App is the ideal online brand extension for any dating show. User-friendly and easy to implement, it perfectly promotes ‘Singl3s’ on Facebook – even when the show is off-air.”
Yifat Fouchs, MD of Screenz Europe adds, “We are very happy to partner with SBS in launching this app and bring its popularity to Belgium. Our experience shows that these types of digital extensions effectively create big buzz around the show as well as become a valuable digital asset.”
Red Arrow International represents Screenz’ products and services exclusively in Europe and will furthermore offer the portfolio outside Europe excluding North America.
