Denver-based television production company Dorsey Pictures today announced the addition of Sean Hogan to the company’s executive team, effective April 2019. Hogan will oversee Dorsey Pictures’ successful lifestyle programming series including Maine Cabin Masters (season 4) and Building Alaska (season 10) as well as the company’s expanding crime programming slate, which includes Dog’s Most Wanted for WGN, a forthcoming series for Oxygen, and others. He will report to Chris Dorsey, CEO of Dorsey Pictures, a Red Arrow Studios company.

A Colorado native, Hogan is veteran unscripted producer who started his career as a production assistant and worked his way up to an executive producer. With over a decade of producing experience, Sean has lead teams through a variety of genres and formats of television.

“Hogan has a reputation for balancing character-driven shows with heart and comedy,” said Dorsey. “He creates an environment of trust on set, leads by example, exemplifies hard work, and believes the best producing comes from capturing a character’s real and honest feelings, all of which are core values to Dorsey Pictures.”

Having worked extensively with 495 Productions and Big Fish Entertainment, Hogan’s credits include MTV’s Jersey Shore, VH1’s Black Ink Crew, Dating Naked, and Tool Academy. He also assisted in the launch of successful first seasons shows, like MTV’s Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Floribama Shore, Snooki and Jwoww, Disaster Date, SPIKE TV’s Tattoo Nightmares, RepoGames, and CMT’s Party Down South. He is currently producing a new primetime FOX series.
