Independent film distributor Gravitas Ventures has recruited Nick Isaak as Head of Sales, reporting to Gravitas Ventures President Michael Murphy.
Isaak brings over 10 years of digital sales and content acquisition experience to Gravitas, with previous roles including worldwide digital sales for MGM Studios; managing international TVOD for Microsoft’s Xbox service; and leading content acquisitions for Amazon’s domestic TVOD business. While at Amazon Isaak was instrumental in growing content partnerships for Prime Video Direct by overseeing the film festival stars program in 2018 and securing hundreds of award-winning films for Prime customers in North America.
“We’re thrilled that Nick has joined our team and know that his entrepreneurial spirit and analytical mind will help us lean into sales especially in SVOD, AVOD and television,” said Michael Murphy.

Last week Gravitas launched acclaimed new indie movie Our Friend in theaters and PVOD, starring Jason Segel, Dakota Johnson and Casey Affleck. Other recent releases include the international box-office and PVOD smash hit The Secret: Dare to Dream, directed by Andy Tennant and starring Katie Holmes.
