KAN, Israel’s public broadcaster, is set to launch a second season of its local adaptation of award-winning international format Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds (local title: 80 ve-arba), produced by July August Productions, on Monday, June 5.

The show will see ten senior care home residents brought together with ten four-year-olds for six weeks.

The original production of Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds is created and produced by CPL Productions for Channel 4 in the UK.

Red Arrow Studios International distribute the format of Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds worldwide, and the format has sold to a range of territories including France, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, Germany and recently launched in Poland.

Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds has won a number of international awards including two Realscreen Awards, a Broadcast Award, Edinburgh TV Award, and two International Format Awards. It was also nominated for a BAFTA award. The format has already garnered its first spinoff in the AACTA Award-winning Old People’s Home for Teenagers, produced by Endemol Shine Australia for ABC Australia.
