Karga Seven Pictures has been nominated for a 2020 Daytime Emmy® Award. Their factual special for MTV, titled MTV News Presents: White Supremacy Destroyed My Life, is nominated for Outstanding Single Camera Editing at the 47th annual awards.
The special tells the stories of people impacted by white supremacy, including an ex-Klan member building a new life free from hate and the family of a Charleston church shooting victim.
The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards will be presented in a two-hour special on Friday, June 26 (8:00-10:00pm, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The Daytime Emmy® Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in daytime television programming since 1974.
