A&E Networks (US) has commissioned a second season of the Kinetic Content-produced format Bride and Prejudice.
The show will move from A&E’s FYI to Lifetime for its second season.
Bride and Prejudice follows three couples who desperately want to get married, but whose family members do not approve of their unions. Viewers meet the couples as they decide to make a life-long commitment in the face of staunch opposition from their family and friends.
Will familial pressure impact their upcoming nuptials? Will they go through with the weddings if family members don’t ultimately approve? Against all odds and in the face of bigotry, these couples will aim to prove that their relationship has what it takes to build the foundation for a long-lasting marriage.
Created and produced by Kinetic Content, local versions of the format include Channel 4 in the UK and Seven Network Australia.
