Two Red Arrow Studios International formats have reached the final of the 2021 international format awards, following online voting by a panel of the world’s leading format commissioners, buyers and producers.
Over 200 formats were entered from across the globe in a year that saw the quality and range of the formats undiminished by the pandemic, according to the judges.
Hit global format Married at First Sight is a finalist in the best returning format category, and Joko Winterscheidt of Stealing the Show! – produced by Florida Entertainment for ProSieben – is nominated for best host.
The international format awards are a coproduction between C21Media, FRAPA, the Entertainment Masterclass and MipFormats.
The winners will be announced at a digital ceremony at 12.30pm CET at MipTV in the Hi 5 Studio, Palais des Festivals, Cannes and streamed simultaneously on C21Media.net.
