The new spinoff to hit cooking competition The Taste is set to launch on SAT.1 in Germany on Wednesday, February 22 at 20:15.
In this new version, The Sweet Taste, professional and amateur dessert and pastry cooks are divided into teams coached by expert, and compete to win €25,000. 3 weekly episodes.
The Taste has been a long-running hit for SAT.1 in Germany. The show ended its season 10 run late last year with a formidable market share of 14.1% (14 – 49y) – the show’s most successful finale ever.
The Taste and The Sweet Taste are both produced by Redseven Entertainment for SAT.1. The format has now been distributed by Red Arrow Studios International to over 40 territories worldwide.
