Groundbreaking new Format Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds Sold to Multiple Territories.

  • A ratings hit for Channel 4 in the UK
  • Created and produced by CPL Productions

Red Arrow International has sold its groundbreaking new UK reality format Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds to a number of international territories.

Created and produced by CPL Productions, a Red Arrow Entertainment Group company, Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds premiered in August on Channel 4 in the UK to exceptional press acclaim and ratings, winning the night for the channel and boosting the primetime share by over 54%.

The format has been picked up by five territories including Banijay in France and Spain; BlazHoffski in the Netherlands; and Australia and Sweden, with more territories to be announced shortly.

In Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds, a group of elderly retirement home residents are brought together with a group of pre-schoolers, to test if this simple inter-generational act can improve the health and wellbeing of the older people.

Henrik Pabst, Managing Director of Red Arrow International, said: “This is one of the most innovative, emotional and life-affirming new formats I have seen, and it genuinely has the potential to change people’s lives. When CPL Productions pitched the format to us, we knew immediately that it would generate interest from our international partners, and I am delighted that the show has been picked up so widely just as we start to take it out following its premiere.”
