Emmy© win for Best TV Movie or Mini-Series
Major event TV movie PETER AND WENDY (1 x 2 hours) has won Best TV Movie or Mini-Series at the 2017 International Emmy© Kids Awards.
‘Peter and Wendy’ is the magical family adventure based on J.M. Barrie’s much-loved classic, starring Stanley Tucci, Laura Fraser and Paloma Faith.
The 5th International Emmy© Kids Awards were announced today, April 4 at MIPTV 2017 in Cannes, and honor excellence in international children’s programming.
The award follows the news that the TV movie has been sold to FOX Networks Group (FNG) Latin America. FNG has picked up “Peter and Wendy” for their pan-regional FOX Premium Family channel across Latin America.
The acclaimed TV movie has also sold to a raft of other territories including RTL Germany for VOX channels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) Content Group in the UK; eOne Films Australia; and France, Africa, Japan, the Philippines, Israel, Poland, the Czech Republic, Turkey and Hungary.
