• 51% purchase expands Red Arrow’s production presence to Belgium
• Sultan Sushi co-founders to continue to lead the company
Red Arrow Entertainment Group today announced the 51% acquisition of Sultan Sushi, a leading Belgian TV production house. Managed by its co-founders and 49% shareholders, Johan Tuyaerts (CEO), Caroline Vergauwen (CFO) and Jan Keersmaekers (COO), Sultan Sushi has long-established relationships with all major Belgian broadcasters. The company’s production credits include “Fata Morgana”, “Huizenjacht” (House Hunt), the daily celebrity magazine “What a life!” and a new children’s mystery drama series for VRT. It has sold its formats to territories around the world, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Scandinavia and South Africa. In addition, Sultan Sushi has successfully diversified into corporate marketing and events, counting KLM-Air France, Bridgestone and Nextel among some of its key clients. The worldwide sale of Sultan Sushi’s formats will be managed by SevenOne International.
