Red Arrow Entertainment Group today announced the acquisition of a majority shareholding in UK production company NERD TV. 


NERD was founded in 2010 by industry-leading executives Jago Lee and John Farrar. They rapidly built an impressive reputation for creativity under the Chairmanship of Charlie Parsons, whose company, Charlie Parsons Creative, made the founding investment. 

NERD specialises in factual entertainment and factual formats for the UK and international markets. Previously, Farrar and Lee ran teams at more than half a dozen UK independent production companies, including Tiger Aspect, Talkback Thames, Raw and Diverse. The company has a number of ongoing projects, including a major order from Discovery Networks and development deals in the UK, US, Germany and France. 

NERD joins a dynamic and growing group of 17 production companies under the Red Arrow Group umbrella, among them leading UK entertainment producer CPL Productions. NERD´s formats and finished shows will be distributed by Red Arrow´s global sales company, SevenOne International. Red Arrow UK Managing Directors, Joel Denton and James Baker, will oversee NERD´s future plans with Baker taking over as Chairman of the company.
