Red Arrow Studios International is heading to London Screenings 2024 with an exciting and varied slate of new titles from acclaimed producers across scripted, formats and factual entertainment programming.

Leading the company’s scripted offering are two new German serial dramas: The Country Doctor (60 x 30’), produced by filmpool for SAT.1 (Germany) – which sees Dr Sarah König finding a fresh start for herself and teenage daughter in a picturesque Bavarian village; and Coastal Police (80 x 30’), following detective superintendent Harry Stein as he makes waves in his small coastal town, produced by Pyjama Pictures for SAT.1/Joyn (Germany).

Further scripted highlights include three dramas from leading Finnish producer Yellow Film & TV. Darkly tragic drama series Forgiven (4 x 60’), based on Laura Manninen’s bestselling novel Kaikki Anteeksi, and the multi-season legal drama The Laws of Man (S1-2: 16 x 60’; S3 commissioned), set in and around courtrooms and law offices in Helsinki, were both commissioned by Elisa Viihde, while crime drama 66 North Precinct (8 x 60’), which follows ex world champion boxer turned detective inspector Maria Pudas as she solves cases in the unforgiving yet beautiful landscape of Lapland, is produced for Finnish public broadcaster YLE. A second season is already in the works.

On the formats front, reality stars get a reality check as they’re sent into the wilderness and back to basics in the fun new adventure format Reality Backpackers, created by Cheerio Entertainment for Joyn (Germany).

Also available at London Screenings is season 11 of ratings phenomenon Married at First Sight Australia (38 x 90’). Produced by Endemol Shine Australia for Nine Network it is delivering drama and ratings aplenty: it’s currently the No 1 show in Australia, even beating the news broadcasts.
