German producer Redseven Entertainment has promoted Julien Nissenbaum to the position of Chief Digital Officer, with immediate effect. He will assume this role in addition to his existing role as an Executive Producer of Digital Services and manager of the company’s internal corporate communications. Julien will report to Redseven Managing Director Christiane Heinemann.

In his new role, Julien will support all EPs and producers in developing narratives for each digital channel, finding the best digital formats for content and developing new digital programs. Julien will also assist with preparations, pitches and negotiations.

Julien has been with Redseven since it was established in 2008. He started his career in 1999 at ProSieben’s taff, where he developed ‘’, the first segment in a German magazine television format to cover subjects from the digital world.

Redseven has a proven track record in producing high quality digital content, with successful shows including #GNTM – The Talk, the weekly IGTV-review with Klaudia with a K and the Queen of Drags spin-off Who’s the Drag. Julien’s promotion to Chief Digital Officer is key to strengthening Redseven’s digital production arm – one of Redseven’s main strategic priorities for 2020.
