Moxie, the digital talent agency of Studio71 in the UK, has won the award for Best Agency for New Talent at The TV Foundation’s New Voice Awards 2020.
Hosted by entertainer and Wall of Comedy/YouTube sensation Yung Filly, the awards were announced during a ceremony at London’s Rich Mix on February 25.
The TV Foundation is the dedicated charity of the Edinburgh TV Festival, and its New Voice Awards recognize and celebrate undiscovered creatives and the companies who do the most to support them.
The Best Agency for New Talent award scooped by Moxie is awarded to the UK Talent Agency who has made the biggest effort towards finding and nurturing new voices in TV in 2019.
Accolades were handed out in 13 categories to emerging talent across presenting, directing, producing and scriptwriting categories; and production companies, agencies, mentors and broadcasters were also recognised for their support of new talent.
Moxie is a subsidiary brand of Studio71 UK, a media company and branded content studio behind series such as Fully Blown, Forged with Steele, Fashion Conscious and Period Dramas. Studio71 and Moxie have specialisms in discovering and working with talent from the social space, helping broadcasters and brands reach new and underserved audiences.
