Red Arrow International has sold rights to the US version of “Married at First Sight” to multiple outlets around the globe including Sky Uno in Italy, SVT in Sweden, SBS Discovery in Norway, MTV Oy in Finland, ProSiebenSat.1’s sixx in Germany as well as to A+E Networks in a multi-territory deal.
Originally created by Snowman Productions for Danish channel DR3, “Married at First Sight” has previously been secured in straight-to-series deals by territories across the globe including France, Australia and Germany.
In the US, the season finale of “Married at First Sight” became the most watched telecast in A+E Network’s fyi and bio.’s network history, firmly placing the new channel on the radar. A second season has already been commissioned. In November, a second season of the Danish version of “Married at First Sight” finished airing. Reaching shares of up to 52%, every episode was consistently the most watched show of the night in Denmark.
