CPL Productions won the award for Best Multichannel Production Company of the year at the Broadcast Digital Awards, held in London on July 2, with the judges commended the company’s ability to “continually reinvent long-standing formats and create cultural buzz”.

The prodco also picked up Best Entertainment Program award for Married at First Sight UK, which it produces for the UK’s E4. The last season was the most streamed show across British BVOD platforms in September (first month of launch), with fans binging more than a millennium – 1,200 years – of viewing time and helped Channel 4 streaming to its biggest day ever (October 16 2024) on its owned and operated platforms with 6.3million views. Also shortlisted in the Entertainment Program category was fellow CPL-produced title Rob & Romesh Vs. Produced for Sky Max, it is the broadcaster’s most successful unscripted series.
