Sky in the UK has commissioned a brand-new series of entertainment comedy shorts from CPL Productions and Ranga Bee Productions, the production company of RTS winner and BAFTA nominated comedian Romesh Ranganathan and Emmy winning executive producer and director Benjamin Green. The series of shorts (10×15′) will showcase some of Britain’s best up and coming comedians as selected by Romesh Ranganathan. The comedians featuring in the 10 shorts are: Ellie Taylor; Nigel NG; Rachel Parris, Cariad Lloyd and Graham Dickson; Amelia Dimoldenberg; Kiri Pritchard McClean; Rosie Jones; Darren Harriott; Luke McQueen; London Hughes; and Colin Hoult as Anna Mann
The shorts will be wide-ranging and tailored to the individual comedians, with the format varying from studio clip shows to comedic entertainment documentaries as well as everything in between.

The series will be made by Ranga Bee Productions in collaboration with CPL Productions. Ranga Bees’ Romesh Ranganathan and Benjamin Green will executive produce alongside CPL Productions’ Danielle Lux and Murray Boland. This is the second collaboration between the two indies, as CPL co-produced season 2 of Ranga Bee’s scripted comedy The Reluctant Landlord for Sky One, which premiered Wednesday, September 4.
