The penultimate episode in the current season of Married at First Sight in the US has concluded with high ratings for Lifetime.
Produced by Kinetic Content, based on the format created by Snowman Productions, the ‘Decision Day’ episode on April 2 attracted 1.364m (P2+) viewers, making it the highest-rated episode in the history of the show’s run on Lifetime. The show also ranked in the Top 5 of the highest-rating US cable shows of the night.
Season 8 has proved a success on Lifetime, where four Philadelphia-based couples put their hearts in the hands of experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Jessica Griffin and Pastor Carl Robertson. The couples met for the first time at the altar on their wedding days.
Couples Kristine Killingsworth (28) and Keith Dewar (29), and AJ Vollmoeller (37) and Stephanie Sersen (35), decided to stay married at the end of the seven week social experiment.
Distributed by Red Arrow Studios International, the hit format has been produced in over 29 countries including multiple seasons in the US (Lifetime), UK (Channel 4), Australia (Nine Network), Denmark (DR1) and Germany (SAT.1).
Married at First Sight US airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
